In early July 2010, we put in at Bullfrog and motored directly to Good Hope Bay. The next few days were spent exploring a few of the canyons between Good Hope Bay and Hite. This year, we took along a sailing Kayak (Hobie Adventure Island) along with a couple single person kayaks. This was by far the best sailing trip for wind (and lots of wind) although at this point we have still never been to the more open West end of Lake Powell. Good Hope Bay had some great open areas with relatively (for a canyon area) smooth wind and we also had good tail winds as we headed East towards Hite.
I didn't keep track of the miles as well as I have
in the past since I lost one day on the GPS but think we probably traveled around 90 to 100 miles.
